Hi All, I’m Jamie!
I know what it’s like to feel out of control around food, to have your thoughts consumed by food and body concerns. I have tried it all in the name of health, low fat, no sugar, whole 30, juice cleanses, low calorie, over exercise. And you know where it got me, more obsessed with food, plagued with digestion issues, and in the constant restrict-binge cycle. I started practicing yoga 15 years ago and that was my first introduction to another way of looking at health from a sense of mindfulness. It wasn’t until I started truly tuning into my body’s own unique cues and utilizing mindfulness, that I realized eating enough, eating nourishing and satisfying foods, and moving in ways that I enjoy was the key to happiness in my body, improved digestion, and a bigger fuller life.
